Alison is a result orientated, merchandising specialist & freelance consultant with over 25 years experience in the retail industry. Her experience spans a variety of multi-channel retailers & product ranges including Homewares, Toys, Greeting Cards, Seasonal products, Baby care, Beers, Wines & Spirits.

Alison launched her own consultancy business in 2023 providing retailers and independents with her expertise in merchandising and commercial change strategy, management and implementation.   

She has excellent commercial and analytical skills and a clear understanding of the connection between sales and profit. With extensive experience of Merchandising principles, planning, budgeting & commercial analysis she can support businesses with Range Planning, WSSI’s, KPI’s, and other financial metrics to facilitate decision making to create long-term, profitable growth.

Alison understands revenue streams, supplier management, and stakeholder involvement, and can improve internal procedures or external supplier management to enhance financial indicators, assist  budget creation and  coordinate projects.
